Grandie Caravan and Camping  Site

The site is located at the East end of the Village green  and has outstanding views over Dufton Ghyll wood and the Pennines. It is an ideal stopping point for those hardy souls doing Pennine Way, Pennine Bridalway and the Sustrans Pennine Cycleway be it just over night or for a rest day or those of us who just want to have a quiet break away from the hurley burley of life. It is just a minute away from the Stag Inn .

The Village is an ideal base for those who want to visit the Lake District but do not want to contend with the congestion. Ullswater is only about 30 mins drive and Hawswater, with its Golden Eagles is only a bit further.  The Eden Valley its self has many things to do and see including one of the countries best upland golf courses at Appleby.
